The short version
- You can read every page, use the calculators and compare products without giving us your name, phone or email.
- Your contact details leave this site only when you send the price request form and check its permission box.
- We measure visits with Google Analytics, with advertising features turned off and never with your contact details. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we don't load it at all.
- We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
When you browse
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to learn which pages are useful. For each visit it records the page you opened, its language and type, and a few actions: opening the price request form, whether a request went through, clicking through to a provider's site, using a calculator and switching language. It doesn't record what you type in a form or in a calculator.
Google also receives what a browser sends to any service: your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address, which Google Analytics doesn't store. To tell one visit from another it sets cookies in your browser that last up to two years. We keep this data for 14 months. Signals for advertising and ad personalization are turned off, and we don't link this data to your name, phone or email.
Hosting. The company that hosts this site keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, time and the page requested, to run the site and keep it secure.
No account, no other cookies. This site has no accounts and no newsletter. It sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing else in your browser.
When you request a price
The price request form asks for your name and phone number, and your email if you want to give it. When you send it with the permission box checked, we pass on:
- your name, phone and, if you gave it, your email;
- the product you asked about, the page you were on and, if you opened the form from a calculator or a comparison, the numbers you entered and the estimate you saw;
- the proof of your permission: the exact text you agreed to, its version and language, the time, your browser type and whether your browser sent Global Privacy Control.
All of it goes to one company: the authorized reseller named in the form's permission text. That company has the same owners as this site, as how we make money explains. It contacts you about your quote and handles your details under its own practices. This site doesn't send you messages.
We forward the request and keep no copy of your contact details on this site. If a request can't be delivered, the form tells you so, and nothing is sent or stored.
Giving that permission isn't a condition of buying anything. You can withdraw it at any time by telling the reseller or by replying STOP to a text message.
When you go to a provider's site
Links to a provider take you to that provider's own site. The provider may be able to tell that you came from us. What it collects from then on is covered by its own privacy policy, not this one.
What we don't do
- We don't sell personal information.
- We don't share personal information for targeted advertising, and we don't run ads from advertising networks.
- We don't build a profile of you, and we don't ask for contact details to show a result.
- This site is for people who run a business. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
- Analytics. Turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser and we won't load analytics. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
- Calls, texts and email after a price request. Tell the reseller to stop, or reply STOP to a text message.
- Your information. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information is held about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. The details you send with a price request are held by the reseller named in the form.

Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how contact details are handled, we'll say what changed.
