Our verdict
Restolabs fits a restaurant that wants low, published monthly pricing for its own ordering page, with loyalty included and flexible exit terms, and is ready to bring its own card processor. Our 12-month cost for the reference restaurant can't be computed from public numbers because card processing is charged by the processor you connect, at the rate you get. Restaurants that want marketing campaigns, a website and an app in the base price will pay for add-ons or the Pro plan.
What we like
- Published plans from $69 a month (Basic, billed monthly), with no commission, no fee per order and no setup fee shown.
- Month to month with no cancellation fee, and a 30-day trial with no card required.
- The terms say your order and customer data belong to you, and Restolabs commits not to sell it.
- Works on your own devices, with any of the processors it supports, and 24/7 chat and email support.
What to watch
- The website ($29 a month) and branded app ($49 a month) are add-ons below the Pro plan ($199 a month).
- Card processing is paid to your own processor, so the full cost depends on the rate you get; Restolabs doesn't handle chargebacks.
- No refunds or proration when you cancel, and your data export is only by request within 30 days after you leave.
- No email or text campaigns from Restolabs yet, and delivery app orders come in only through an aggregator such as Deliverect.
