2.75%Shift4 (opens in a new tab) · Vendor website · Standard Pricing in Shift4's online checkout, with the $29.99 table-service bundle. The pricing page and the contracts don't list card rates; a custom quote can set others.
Not publishedShift4 (opens in a new tab) · Vendor website · ()Shift4's checkout prices Standard Pricing for its POS at 2.75% + 15¢ and says you pay that standard rate on all credit card transactions (as opposed to the Advantage Program, where your customers pay); it names no online or keyed-in rate, and its contracts list none. Same rule for every vendor: a flat in-person rate isn't extended to online or keyed-in sales unless the vendor names those channels (an interchange-plus markup is, because interchange is priced per channel).
Quote onlyShift4 Help Center (opens in a new tab) · Vendor website · Shift4's billing glossary says it was added to all merchant accounts in 2023; the Shift4 POS pricing page says you never pay extra for support. Ask whether it applies to you.

$150/monthShift4 (opens in a new tab) · Contract or terms · Shift4's billing glossary lists $75 per device; we use the $150 of the agreement (MPA §5.4.4). Same rule for every vendor: when the contract and the help center disagree, the contract governs and we show the other figure.
per deviceOnly for months without card processing, after 30 days without using it (MPA §5.4.4).
per accountEach time a customer disputes a charge.
Paid by your customers
With this program your customers pay the card cost on the cards it covers, so those cost your restaurant $0 in our estimate. A surcharge only covers credit cards: your restaurant still pays the vendor's rate on debit. We show what your customers pay apart and never add it to your cost. Card network rules and state laws apply, and some states limit surcharges.
